RE: Want to switch the glass in the door....

We purchased ours from the local glass store, reflective dual pane to match the other windows in the camper. Tempered safety glass is more expensive, it's your choice.

RE: Want to switch the glass in the door....

Straight forward if they are the same size, ours were not. We had a dual pane coated unit made.

RE: On The Road To Alaska

We must have gone over the other Top of the World Highway, the good dirt one with some dust, little mud and few flying rocks. Did not see anywhere that would have been a problem for two vehicles to pass without one rolling down the side. Passed by tour buses and double tanker trailer rigs. Next time would miss Chicken the Pedro Dredge was interesting but not much else, found Eagle much more to our liking, most of that road is surfaced for the tour buses. Earlier in the trip we drove the Dalton to Deadhorse would not have missed that one but if you have problems with TOW. don't try the Dalton.
Have fun slow down and enjoy carry loads of quarters for the car washes.

RE: On The Road To Alaska

Valdez Eagle's Rest RV Park. No real landscaping but incredible views all round very clean, everything works including the free WIFI. Best of all a Pot Luck Salmon fry tonight put on by the park's owners. Oh and the Sun is shining don't know if the park made that happen.

RE: Savage River campground Denali

Snow had gone two weeks ago, no water and not all toilets were open. May have changed now check with the rangers. Teklanica looked like it may open in July sometime when the snow goes it will be a bog. Good luck.

RE: On The Road To Alaska

Good place to avoid in Anchorage
Downtown RV on Northern Lights BLVD.
We looked laughed and moved on. Creek Side RV. seems a better bet, we did not stay there either.
Writing this sitting in Denali Park every thing is not working but close, Prudoe Bay next week.
Cheers

RE: White Horse to Watson Lake

Hi Country RV Park Whitehorse, blue sky high forties nice clean park not quite fully open but close. Drive from Watson Lake was incredible as previously detailed by Jwink. To those of you waiting to start up WHY? Only disappointment to this point the Parks in Dawson Creek range from closed to disgusting check the facilities before you pay.
